Polar bear turns purple

Pelusa, a 14-year-old female polar bear in Mendoza's zoo, west of Buenos Aires, Argentina, normally white, turned violet after being administered a drug to treat a skin disorder. Veterinarians said she would turn to her normal cream colour within a month. "The medicine has been used for humans too", they said.
