FunTrivia.com is the world's largest and oldest trivia website, running as an online community since 1994! FunTrivia has over 400,000 trivia questions in 3,300 categories, created by over 10,000 different visitors to this site, from over 100 countries around the world. The people who maintain the site not only strive for accurate answers and well-written content but also encourage quiz writers to provide interesting additional information on topics, providing a much better experience for quiz takers. Membership to FunTrivia is free, and as a member you may play and create as many games as you can within any of the categories.

They have a special membership called Gold Membership that can be chosen optionally where a 6-month subscription can be bought to give you a set of cool features and conveniences. Quizzes are categorised into various classes like animals, Brain Teasers, Hobbies, Music, Movies and others. Each trivia quiz on the site has been created by a Funtrivia member and rechecked by at least one of the volunteer editors. Each quiz consists of 5 and 25 questions. Some of these will be multiple-choice format; some true/false and others will be fill in the blank. You can also play games from the homepage by browsing through the categories from the member's area. The system will record your scores and let you know how you are doing. Players who attempt several quizzes or collect a lot of points by answering questions correctly. (10 for each) make it to the top player lists. A great place to start off is by playing some of our Editor's choice games.

Become a creator

Creating new trivia games is incredibly easy with the built in quiz creation program. You just need to think of a topic, some questions, and our software will handle the rest. Once you have created the template you can begin to edit your questions. You may leave the quiz creation program at anytime by clicking the Save button. All changes that you have made are saved to disk, and you can return to continue with your game creation at any time. When you have finished your game, select "My quiz is ready to go online'' from the pull-down menu on the game editor screen, and then save. The game will then be forwarded to the volunteer editors who will check your quiz for obvious errors and ensure that you follow the basic creation guidelines. If all goes well, the game will then appear online, and everyone online will be able to play it.

The FunTrivia Crosswords section is aimed at more experienced authors to create their own crossword puzzles using the online puzzle maker. All of their puzzles are then available to all players to be played and this requires Java. Again there are several crossword categories like entertainment, geography, religion, video games and many more.

You can also ask a question or answer a question posted from other visitors. There is a forum to exchange ideas as well. You must create a forums account in order to post messages here and most importantly read the forum rules as well. With so much content this website is surely a tonic for the mind.
