Elvis rocks

ALWAYS THE CELEBRITY: The King

Elvis Presley died in 1977 when he was 42. But, according to the Forbes magazine, he still rocks. The King topped the magazine's annual list of celebrities who still bring home the bacon, though they're no longer around. And he's consistently topped the list for the last five years. In the last year, Presley's earnings were $ 45 million. Not very far off was Charles Schulz, the creator of immortal Charlie Brown, with $ 35 million though he died five years ago. In third place was John Lennon with $25 million. Andy Warhol, the eccentric artist who died in 1987, earned $16 million thanks to the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts that sold several of his paintings and also signed a deal for a Warhol line of bags, paperweights and other accessories. Others in the top 10 were Theodore (Dr. Seuss) Geisel, the children's writer; Hollywood stars Marlon Brando and Marilyn Monroe; writer J.R.R. Tolkien; and another former Beatle, Geroge Harrison.
