A birthday is one day of the year when you can let your hair down and contemplate on how to make the day special. It is a day of laughter, fun and frolic, with balloons, streamers and more.
I regard my birthday as a milestone, when I jot down all my feelings, emotions and thoughts and how far I have succeeded since my last birthday.
Two greats
Interestingly, I share my birthday with Anne Frank and Steffi Graf. Do I share any traits and characteristics with them as we have the same zodiac sign and birth date. Anne Frank was a true-blue optimist and positive thinker who spent hours cooped up in a hideout, which she called her "Secret Annexe". In her spare time she would let her thoughts flow freely and express them vividly in her diary as that is known to be a cathartic outlet for lonely people. She would write to express not to impress, yet she has been rated as one of the most natural and talented teenagers of all time. Her book, The Diary of Anne Frank, which was published after her death, is one of the most touching and beautiful descriptions of the life of a teenager. She was also imbued with humanism as she said, "Inspite of everything I still think that all people are really good at heart."
Steffi Graf, the world-famous German tennis player, was the ultimate tennis player who would "eat tennis, drink tennis and sleep tennis" since it is absolutely essentially for champions to be exclusively focused on their sport and identify with it completely. Since she was an international tennis champion, she needed necessarily to have a killer instinct in order for her to win matches and hence climb the ladder of success. Steffi would many a time show her softer side, for example, after she vanquished her rival Yana Novotna in the Wimbledon Final in 1992, she gave Yana a very genuine and sincere compliment, which few professional tennis players would do.
Geminis can be the most exasperating, irritating and annoying tantrum throwers, they are also some of the most friendly, emotional, successful, humanitarian and innately good people who believe in being enthusiastic over all the beauty that life has to offer.
