The tribute
The tribute to Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the nation) was timely, but it contained a minor error: Gandhiji was travelling from Durban to Pretoria, not Johannesburg, as reported when he was forced to get off the train at a nondescript station called Petermaritzburg.

The brief tribute to the Father of the Nation was inspiring and fascinating. The frustrated train journey in South Africa persuaded the timid and shy young man to generate the spirit of fighting against injustice through non-violence. That he began the sathyagraha movement at such a young age showed his burning desire to free our country.
