Belarus brought out a set of five stamps in 1995 depicting endangered animal species. The animals portrayed are the moose (Alces alces) which is the largest member of the deer family, the European bison is an oxlike grazing mammal, the Roe deer (Capreoius capreolus) an Eurasian deer, the Brown bear (Ursus arctos) of the family Ursidae and the lynx.
