To commemorate this event Japan released a se-tenant pair stamp depicting a Mammoth and the planet earth. The stamp on the left, features the head of the recently recovered mammoth and the one on the right shows an illustration of the animal. Both are set against a backdrop of the planet earth. Numerous countries and organisations participated in this exposition. The main purpose of this meeting was global harmony with nature.
