Sheep and shepherds

Spanish shepherds took part in the annual sheep parade through the heart of Madrid recently. The sheep were en route to winter pastures in southern Spain as their protesting shepherds tried to reclaim ancient migration routes, which have been taken over for recreational, environmental and agricultural use.
