Delhi Public School (North), Yelahanka

Delhi Public School (North), Yelahanka celebrated its annual day recently.

The programme began with the junior school choir singing the "Swagatham, suswagatham" song. This followed by the presentation of the school report by principal Sneh Preet Sial. She said the aim of the school was to enable the children to achieve human excellence. The school provides an ideal environment for them to explore and expand their minds, she said.

M. M. Chopra, Chairman of DPS (North) was the chief guest and he said that school is the place where knowledge is created and distributed. The meritorious students were felicitated on the occasion. Rohan Garg received a trophy for excelling in academics.

Aditya Goel was given the prize for excelling in co-curricular activities, while Achintya Prahlad walked away with the Marker Cup.

K. Rahman Khan, Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha was the guest of honour and distributed prizes to the winners.
