Green Country Public School

Green Country Public School celebrated its fifth annual day `Sankalp', recently.

Former Lokayukta Justice N. Venkatachala was the chief guest. Ubhaya Gana Vidushi, Shyamala G Bhave, and Guinness record holder S. Ramesh Babu were guests of honour.

Shyamala G Bhave unveiled the bust of the late Lakshmamma, who had donated the land to house this institution.

"We have unveiled the bust of this noble lady in our premises to remember her forever," said T. P. Ravishankar, the managing trustee of the institution.

Sankalp which means `to resolve to excel', was an evening of fun and festivities.

Enthusiastic children from all the grades performed in the cultural programme.

B. K. Muniyappa, Chairman, Bangalore Technological Foundation Trust (BTFT) was present.
