Shishu Griha, Indiranagar

Shishu Griha, Indiranagar, held its sports day recently. Swimmer Nisha Millet was the chief guest and she declared the sports meet open.

The day began with the march past in which contingents of various houses took part. The Lezim drill presented by the students of grade Six followed this. Taking the audience back to ancient lifestyle was the graceful yoga performance.

The students of Grade Five presented a "Saucy dance" to a Ricky Martin's number.

The pyramid formation by the senior students brought applause from the large gathering of parents. The girls of Grade 7, 8 and 9 performed aerobics, while the "lotus drill" had its own charm.

The day ended with a mass drill that depicted the glorious heritage of Karnataka. Later the students formed the outline of the State.
