Bapu Composite PU College, Yeshwanthpur

Bapu Composite PU College, Yeshwanthpur, organised Spectrum 2007, a science and arts exhibition recently. Ex-corporator B. R. Nanjundappa inaugurated the exhibition. He remembered the contributions made by the founder of the institution, late P. V. Sreerama Reddy in the field of education. The emphasis was to provide quality education for poor students, he said. Mr. Nanjundappa made a comparison between India and China and said that China had made the best use of science and technology especially in the field of transportation.

C. B. Kribanandan, Principal, Stracy Memorial College presided. The lyrics of the invocation song "Eureka, eureka", which had the theme of achievements of scientists in various fields impressed him and he expressed his intention to learn it by-heart. Citations were presented to science teachers and over 10,000 students from nearby schools visited the exhibition.
