A day to remember

Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, celebrated its annual day at Kamani auditorium recently.

This time the school collaborated with National School of Drama and the result was a colourful presentation.

Fun and frolic

The function began with 40 students singing a welcome song "Jo Kadam Bade Woh Ruke Nahin". It emphasised the importance of hard work and determination in one's life.

The programme also had some choreography and plays. A group of 14 students presented Atmodaya, describing the ability of the human mind to transform negative emotions into positive energy that helps man.

Play time

The play Bindaas Chor based on renowned playwright and director Habib Tanveer's play Charandas Chor was presented and this was much appreciated by the audience. This play directed by Akhilesh Khanna had 60 students portraying the different characters.

The chief guest of the evening, Election Commissioner, Navin B. Chawla, released the school's annual brochure.
