Capron Hall Higher Secondary School

The 172nd anniversary-cum-parents teachers association function of Capron Hall Higher Secondary School was celebrated in a grand manner in the school premises recently.

Students with outstanding records in academics and athletics who had brought laurels to the school were honoured on the occasion. Teachers who had produced centum results in their respective subjects were also honoured. To give colour to the celebrations, students performed cultural programmes and staged English and Tamil plays.

The correspondent, A. Henry, welcomed the gathering and headmistress R. Rani Chandra Leela read out the annual report. The chief educational officer of Madurai district, Rama Pandurangan, delivered the presidential address, while J. Thasayan, secretary of the diocese, spoke. The District Educational Officer, P. Natchiyar, distributed the prizes.
