Go deeper, Goblin

The Goblin Shark, a deep-sea "living fossil" shark, was caught off the shallows of Tokyo Bay and left in a tank at the Tokyo Sea Life Park's aquarium. A 130-cm-long goblin shark survived barely a week in its new environment. The most distinctive characteristic of the goblin shark is the unorthodox shape of its head. Goblin sharks feed on a variety of organisms that live in the deep waters. Very little is known about the species, as encounters with them have been relatively rare.
