TEN-YEAR-OLD ROY HARRIS: With Bella.

Granby Elementary School in Norfolk, Virginia, is a place where dogs get to stay with the children, while students learn their lessons in the classroom. One important lesson is to let the children read to the dogs as part of a programme called "Listening Ears". The programme helps children overcome their reluctance to read by having them read books to non-judgmental canines.
