Elgi Matric H.S. School, Vellalore

Elgi Matric H.S. School, Vellalore, celebrated its annual sports day. The District Sports Officer, Rajamahendran, was the chief guest. Students performed yoga, mass drill, karate and mass dance. The chairman of Elgi group of companies, L.G. Varadarajulu, announced special prizes for two students who had won the fifth and 12th place in a mini marathon conducted by Bharatiar University. He told the parents and the teachers to guide the students on coping with examination fever.
