An Indo-Italian magic show

An Indo-Italian magic show was organised by the Academy of Magical Sciences as `Gurupooja' for Vazahkunnam Neelakandan Namboodiri, the forefather of Kerala magic in the city last week. The Indo-Italian show comprised the `Anaganava Magic Show,' a mix of magic and jugglery presented by a team of four-young Italian magicians. The Italian team was lead by 27-year-old Pistone Giuseppe. According to Mr. Giuseppe the Italian word `Anaganava' means magical and special. The Italian artistes were also accompanied on stage by Haridas and Akash, the first prize winners in the senior and junior categories in the recently held Vazhakunnam memorial State-level magic competitions. The show was compeered by Rajamoorthy, an instructor of magic. Besides its lone lady artiste Mugavero Elisabetta, the team had Tedeschi Fulvio and Iacono Daniele as members. The team of Italian magicians also had a meeting the ace illusionist Gopinath Muthukad.
