Some thoughts for success

K.N. MURALI SANKAR

Here are some tips that will make children smile.

Parents should understand the need for relieving the children from stress and strain. They should allow their wards to listen to music for some time. Noted novelist and Yandamoori Veerendranath has brought out a small booklet titled "Modati Rank ki Vanda Sutralu" (Hundred Tips to Secure First Rank).

"During the examinations, parents should concentrate on two issues. They should ensure that their wards follow a timetable to cover all subjects and create an environment in the house that encourage children to study," says Mr. Veerendranath.

He urges parents not to invite relatives to their house till the completion of examinations and not to try and evaluate the performance of their wards on a day-to-day basis.
