Toc-H Public School campus, Kochi

Tree saplings were planted in the Toc-H Public School campus, Kochi, in connection with the observation of Forest Day. The programme was organised by the school's environment club. The school's president P J Joseph, principal Sathi Ramachandran, secretary K A Simon and treasurer K K. Mathew were among those who participated in the drive. Ms Ramachandran said that 12 saplings of different varieties of trees were planted in the campus. "The school has a green belt, which is home to trees and seasonal vegetables. The vegetables are used in the school canteen."
