Stamp that tells a story

Sharjah, one of the seven component states of the UAE, issued a set of stamps depicting important events in

Jesus' life.

The two-dirham stamp depicts the trial scene of Jesus, after He had been accused of blasphemy. This stamp is an addition to thematic collectors specialising in "Story-telling stamps".

The stamp portrays Jesus standing before Pontius Pilate and surrounded by Jewish clerics.
