Auden Institute of Education, Banashankari

Auden Institute of Education, Banashankari, organised a mock parliament recently. The students of class IX participated and the parents witnessed the "young parliamentarians" in action. They had a lively debate and also passed a bill. The question hour and the zero hour were part of the session. Anusha was the president, while Namratha excelled as the speaker. Samarth Rao was the prime minister and Lavanya donned the role of opposition leader. At the end of the session, the students emerged wiser learning a few things about how a democracy works. Administrative officer Meena Jayachandra, principal Shuba Madan and headmaster Sridhar Rao were present.
