ON WHEELS: Highly beneficial.
The Vidyanjali Rehabilitation Unit, Nungambakkam, is holding a camp that focuses on socialisation and peer interaction, independency in feeding, toilet indication, play, sitting tolerance and waiting for turns. At a cost of Rs. 2,500, it also includes lunch.
Those with a penchant for wheels can join John Miller of the Vidyanjali Rehabilitation Unit on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday between 6.30 am and 8.00am at the Besant Nagar Skating Rink.
There are also classes for special swimmers with one to one coaching for Rs. 200 per class.

For the autistic and young people dealing with ADHD, the AIKYA Recreation Centre has special training sessions in reading, writing skills, games, computers with Sensory Integration and Occupation therapy.
