PAROMITA PAIN

Meet Lewis, a scientist with a `never say die attitude'.

MEET THE ROBINSONS: Lewis, the inventive genius.

What would you do if you were talented, made Albert Einstein your guru and are a creative genius whose inventions would have shaken the world if only they worked during the demonstration? Take a leaf out of Lewis's (voiced by Daniel Hansen and Jordan Fry), book and start work straightway on your next product, probably. "Meet The Robinsons" by Stephen Anderson is Disney's latest 3D animation offering but that's just not why it's important.

This movie isn't just for very young people looking for some laughs. It's a serious movie with an important message that might be missed under all that technical gloss and idea of time travel.

Lewis is an orphan and would love to be adopted. After all who doesn't want to be part of a family? But few can understand the inventive genius and most of his scientific explorations put off prospective parents.

Good time

But blessed with a great mind and `a never say die attitude', he just carries on till one day he decides a memory decoder will help him find his real mom. But what stands between this invention from working is a Bowler Hat villain. Yes, an innocuous bowler hat that isn't quite so innocent.

But then all isn't lost for, Wilbur Robinson (Wesley Singerman) flies into the scene to help save the day with his time machine. From then on, a swashbuckling ride in machines never seen before in a world where colour reigns supreme, the movie simply is out of the world. Catch the movie on one of these long lazy days!

Playing at Satyam theatres (4224 4224), Inox (4265 8888) and Mayajaal (9840012881).
