Memorable moments

J. R. SHRIDHARAN

A great day for the tiny tots.

LET'S DANCE TOGETHER: At Blossoms 2007

For two-day, the premises of Bloomingdale, the green playschool of Nalanda Educational Institutions, vibrated with the activities of tiny tots who showcased their innate skills in "Blossoms 2007." An exhibition was inaugurated by G. Gayathri, vice-principal of Nalanda Vidya Niketan.

A story telling corner called "Tell Tales", ideas for doing up one's house with palm paintings and sand paintings, a jungle scene titled "Wild Like Us" and a host of other painting activities were on display.

Great display

Hand crafted jewellery with beads and clay models were amongst them.

"It was amazing to see the toddlers rendering rhymes and sway to the peppy tunes with loads of confidence and enjoyment," said school principal P. Nageswari.

The highlight of the programme was "snap shots", a feature that captured certain fleeting and special moments of each child's life on campus during the year. It was a day to remember.
