Wolf who came to stay

COMPILED BY NIMI KURIAN

Strange friends: A wolf and a donkey.

A wolf and a donkey share a cage in the northwestern town of Patok in Albania. Strange? Its bizarre, when you realise that the donkey was actually brought into the enclosure to be fed to the wolf, which was caught in the northern Albanian mountains four months ago. But the course of love never was simple and the animals have since become attached to each other. The odd couple attracts a lot of visitors, mainly curious villagers and the local media.
