A personality development programme for school students.

Keen listeners: Session on motivation.
Over 50 students took part in a week long personality development programme organised by the Parent Teacher Association of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom. The programme included sessions on effective communication, public speaking, advanced learning techniques, motivation, etiquette, manners, social and life skills. An interactive session with the Inspector General of Police, Rishiraj Singh, was the highlight of the programme. Maaney Paul, acclaimed guide and motivator, enthra
lled the children with his session on leadership and motivation. Harinarayanan of Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment gave a presentation on natural resources management. There was also a presentation on newspaper in education by The Hindu.
L. Radhakrishnan, secretary, State Government, who inaugurated the camp enlightened the students on effective leadership, communication skills and the need for personality development.
K.R.S. Krishnan, general manager (Research and Development), Hindustan Latex, was the chief guest of the valedictory function. He gave away certificates to the participants.
