St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School


The State Institute of Children’s Literature has launched a State-wide school book fair project for students. As a part of the project, book fairs will be conducted in select schools across the State for two days.

The project was inaugurated by Dr. B. Ikbal, former vice-chancellor, Kerala University at St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School in the city last week. Rubin D’Cruz, director of the Institute, presided over the function. < /p>

Over 500 books and encyclopaedias published by the institute were on display and sale at the fair. Some of the other schools in the district where the fair will be conducted in the phase include Model School, S.M.V. School and Cotton Hill School.
