Terrific at table tennis

The Nationals in table tennis is his goal.

Sharp moves: Venkata Ramana

S.S. Venkata Ramana, a student of Std. VIII of Little Angels School is a champion in table tennis. He won the silver medal in the under-12 singles event in the second Fajr international cultural and sports tournament at Qazvin (Iran) and also helped India finish third in the team event apart from bagging the bronze medal in doubles. He toured China in August 2006 where he participated in Taiyuan International Junior Open and won the bronze medal in the team event. In Decem ber he bagged the bronze medal for AP team in the Junior Nationals held at Cuttack.

Top notch

He secured the No.1 rank in the State in the under-14 category this year and holds the second position in the State in the under-17 category. Ramana led the State in the cadet boys event in the sub-junior Nationals in 2004. He is aiming for the top position in the National Championship.
