Mary Ann Matric H.S. School, Madurai


The inaugural function of the English Club of Mary Ann Matric H.S. School, Madurai, was held at the school recently. Presiding over the function, S.P. Densia, Reader in English, St. Justin’s College of Education, Madurai, spoke about the importance of English, pronunciation, accent, stress and intonation.

Students participated in various competitions including elocution, dumb charades and proverb reciting. Prizes were distributed to winners.

Regina Jeyapaul, correspondent, spoke. S.K. Pandian, head, Department of English, made the arrangements.
