P. SOLOMON DHANARAJ

The stamp features an owl perched on crossed swords and the motto “Yuddham Pragnya” (in Hindi) written on the ribbon band, meaning “To war with wisdom”. The owl, made of solid silver, was originally, brought from England and presented to the college in 1907, when it started in Quetta, now in Pakistan. After the partition, the college was shifted to Wellington in 1947.
