A.V.M.S. Matric H.S. School, Ramanathapuram

A.V.M.S. Matric H.S. School, Ramanathapuram, organised a “Micro legal literacy camp” to enlighten students on their rights, and laws that exist in protecting their rights. G. Muthu Kumaran, District Munsif, who was the chief guest, spoke on “eve teasing”, the law and its effects on students who are involved in it. He also spoke on the dowry act for the benefit of girl students.

Lawyers Anbuchezhian and Thavamani spoke on the importance of knowing laws related to students.

K.K. Narayanan, president, Ayira Vysia Maha Jana Sabai, presided. K. Mathavi, principal, welcomed the gathering.

The school correspondent, P.K. Ravindran, editorial committee members, students and staff members participated.
