Ebenezer International School Bangalore

It was a day to pamper the teachers at Ebenezer International School Bangalore. For the several non-resident Indian (NRIs) students, it was the first ever Teachers’ Day celebration. And for once, the students took over the administration of the school. The day began with the reading of verses from various religious books – The Bhagvad Gita, The Bible, The Quran and The Guru Granth, which brought about a great feeling of unity.

With the singing of Happy Birthday to the great teacher – Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, a variety entertainment programme entirely organised by the students and exciting games for the teachers brought out the spirit of competition among staff, while planning and organising capabilities of every students was showcased perfectly.

Excitement continued at the school as a nerve-wracking brainteaser was up on the notice board. Photographs of staff members as toddlers were on display where exciting prizes awaited the winner who can identify his or her “Best friend – Your teacher" contest.

The school leaders led by Sonia Shah, Abhishek Balakumar, Rakshit Perical, Jeremy and Oberoi ensured that teachers enjoyed the day.
