Students of Std. I in their white dresses prepared peace salad by mixing love, respect, kindness, honesty, responsibility and sharing. The children also enacted a short skit to portray ‘Victory of good over evil.’

As a highlight of the programme, the school authorities released three doves into the air.

The school also organised a programme titled ‘Say it with flowers,’ to celebrate Flowers Day.

Children of Std. II who were dressed in bright colours and flowery costumes spoke about the usefulness of flowers.

The students also presented flowers to principal Aruna Visveswar, vice-principal G. Muthiah and headmistress Rajani Balasubramaniam.
