Vignan Vidyalayam High School, Thimmapuram


Students of Vignan Vidyalayam High School, Thimmapuram, bagged the first prize in the folk dance competition conducted during the 15th Children’s Film Festival held in Hyderabad last month.

The students gave a lively dance performance, “Vallari mamu”.

They also performed at the inaugural ceremony of the festival that was telecast live.

Nista, a pupil of the school, received the best anchor award on the second day of the festival.

Some 350 schools from all over the State participated in the event.
