Nalanda Vidya Niketan


U. Dharmaja, a student of standard VI, in Nalanda Vidya Niketan, was adjudged the fourth runner-up in the International Global Art Competition held at Kuala Lampur in Malaysia in December. Children from 18 different countries participated in the event. Dharmaja had secured second place in the national level selections held at Chennai in the creative art section with ‘Forest’ as the main theme and qualified to represent India at Kuala Lampur.

The school also celebrated its 10th annual sports meet in a grand way recently. The N.C.C group commander, Kakinada, Colonel P.V. Mohan was the chief guest while A. Vijaya Babu, correspondent of Nalanda Educational Institutions, was the guest of honour.
