Pre-University College, Nanthoor

Aston Coelho, a first year science student of Padua Composite Pre-University College at Nanthoor here participated in the Karnataka state junior and senior athletic championship 2007 held at Bangalore and bagged the first place in both discuss and shot put in the under-18-years-category. He participated in the 19th South Zone junior athletic championship which was held at Pondicherry.

He also participated in the Karnataka state junior athletic championship 2007 (amateur), which was held at Mysore and bagged the first place in discuss and shot put in the under-18-years-category. His achievements in the pre-university games athletic meet 2007-08, district level sports meet and state level sports meet took him to the 53rd national level school games held at Kolkatta in January this year, where he finished seventh.
