Under the Sarva Shiksha Abiyan Scheme, the Department of Elementary Education organised the exhibition for the benefit of students of all panchayat union elementary schools including aided, corporation, and Adi Dravidar Schools.

The one-day exhibition witnessed the participation of 106 schools that had displayed 330 working models in 11 stalls at RC Middle School, Kathakinaru near Madurai.
