A stamp exhibition that highlighted great personalities.

Great way to learn: The stamp exhibition

History came alive with a variety of stamps and coins at an exhibition that was organised by S. Prabhakar Rao, president of the Visakha Stamps and Coin Collectors Association at the Visakha Museum recently.

The exhibition that started on the eve of International Women’s Day had on display commemorative stamps of prominent women personalities of the nation, stamps of freedom fighters and reformers of Andhra Pradesh and commemorative coin sets. The e xhibition attracted many visitors during the week. Coins of freedom fighters of the nation like Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Subhas Chandra Bose, Chatrapati Shivaji, Maharana Pratap, Santh Tukaram, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Tenneti Viswanatham were also on display.
