Challenging knowledge

RANA SIDDIQUI

Learn while you have fun.

It is said that what we are taught in the early years of our life, stays with us. Who can forget those tales our grandmas told us when we were kids? How invariably we also learn the basic tenets of our religion instilled into us through playway method by our elders. There are many children’s books that contain interesting religious stories for kids. But one doubts if there are fun games on religion too. Delhi-based Goodword Books Private Ltd has come out with marvellous games and books.

One of the games they have come out with is Goodword Kidz Quran Challenge game. The game comes with a pack of 100 question cards on which questions related to the Quran are printed on one side and answers on the other.

Way to play

The questions have six categories represented by six symbols. There are four pawns of red, blue, green and yellow colours. Two to four players can play the game.

The player who starts the game places a pawn on the ‘start’ picture of a camel and answers the question from the card, if he answers it right, he proceeds to the next house, if he doesn’t, it is the turn of the next player. The winner is the one who finishes first.
