The Annual Day celebration of the Government Lower Primary School, Kannanmoola, was inaugurated by R. Satheesh Kumar, Corporation ward councillor at a function held in the school recently. K. Mahadevan, president of the ‘Karma’ socio-cultural organisation, Valiasala, gave away prizes and trophies to the children who secured high marks in examinations and to winners of various arts and sports competitions. C. Vidya, staff secretary of the school, presided over the function. The inaugural ceremony was followed by cultural programmes by the students, which added colour to the festivities.
