The Std. XII students of Mount Zion Matric H.S. School, Pudukottai, were given a warm farewell at a function held at the school. Chief guest Charles Dhanasingh, a Karnataka-based motivational speaker, exhorted the students to serve as beacons of light and dispel the darkness of ignorance.

Correspondent Jayabarathan Chelliah urged the students to adhere to the values taught at the school. A candle-lighting ceremony followed the speech. Headmistress Florence J. administered the anti-drug addiction oath to the students. The students of Std. XI presented a variety entertainment programme. Senior Principal Jonathan J. spoke.
