PAROMIT PAIN

Celebrating the summer should come easy to us, lucky as we are to live in a country so full of varied seasons that keeps life interesting always!

New seasons, new fruits, new flowers, the summer is not just all about things but also the sun that might just get a tad too hot at times. If you are lucky enough to be on vacation then the afternoons can hang heavy.

Log on to the info highway and check out with Techie some cool sites that have some super stories that are just so right for those long warm afternoons!

The lovely page that opens at http://www.vtaide.com/png/stories. htm is a truly nice site that is chock a bloc with stories that have music, special effects and are perfects read alouds. Funny short stories like the Big Sheep and Small Sheep abound and they have lots of pictures. They may take some time to load but they are worth the wait.

The stories for children magazine at http://storiesforchildren.tripod. com/ is another store of tales. The site is an interesting one not just because it tells young people stories but also because it promises a full "adventure in the world of ink". Read about authors who write for young people, understand how they get their stories and of course read some nice tales that add a grand spin to hot afternoons! Besides the section where authors as young as 17 write is truly inspirational.

Sometimes you may yearn for stories from a certain time. Don't you just love it when they start with "Long, long ago when."? Now here's a site that is full of just this kind of stuff. The http://www.longlongtimeago.com/ is "the story website for everybody" for `here's every kind of story you can think of'. All you need to do is to click on the one you want! The best thing is that it also has reviews of various books written for young people.

So now hot times are all set to get even hotter thanks to tales long and short!
