Vidyodaya School, Kochi

A five-day-long orientation programme has been arranged in May for teachers of Vidyodaya School, Kochi, to update them about developments in teaching. The role played by extra-curricular activities in the development of children too will be discussed, said Krishnakumari Nair, principal.

Experts in different fields will make presentations and interact with the teachers on topics like class-room teaching and evolving trends in education. The school has programmes like Sarganjali, organised by children, that provides an avenue for exhibiting and developing their talents. Then there is Vox Populi, a festival organised by the school’s alumni.
