"Readers Club", Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom

Children should develop the habit of creative reading, Lalitha Lenin, poet and children’s writer said, while speaking after inaugurating the ‘Readers Club’ at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, last week. Ms. Lenin was of the view that ‘intelligent’ censoring of reading would be appropriate for children. Both television and the print media should play a complementary role for children. The function was organised by the library wing of the school in connection with the World Book Day.
