Fun through paint: At the camp
More and more summer camps are giving an opportunity for children to put their leisure time to good use. Spoorthi, a creative art school, began its summer camp for children, which was inaugurated by noted cartoonist AVM. He pointed out that art has been intrinsically linked to the human existence since ages, and human beings have always used art as a medium to give a form to their feelings and aspirations about nature. AVM also complimented ‘Spoorthi’ and its h
ead G. Srinivas for training youngsters in not just painting, but in handwriting, creative craft, diploma examinations and Photoshop.
Best artist
AVM handed over the ‘Best Budding Artist Award’ that ‘Spoorthi’ gives every year to a student to A.S.S. Likhith of Std. VII for 2007-08.
Pidilite Industries’ State creative craft coordinator D. Lingaraju addressed an awareness programme on "Art and Craft." He touched upon the aspects of creative craft, clay moulding and kids’ art. He told the students that they should observe nature around them, so that they could be more creative and excel in their chosen field.
