Sri Sankara M.H.S.S.

Sri Sankara M.H.S.S. celebrated the inaugural function of its silver jubilee recently. Sri Jayendra Saraswathi of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam inaugurated the celebrations. Retd Justice Vallinayagam and Mr. K. Vaidhyanathan, Editor, Dinamani were the guests of honour.

The president Mr. R.V. Ramani welcomed the gathering. The joint secretary of the school spoke about the history of the school.

Free uniforms and free books and notebooks were distributed to 25 students. School toppers from Std. X and XII were awarded the Swarna Jayanti cash award.

The function ended with a song for world peace.
