The Horlicks Wiz Kids 2008 saw a lot of excitement and good competition.



_Chennai winners : All set to go national

The Horlicks Wiz Kids 2008, the interschool fiesta in Chennai culminated with two students Pavan Kapnadak, IX (Senior Category), Kola Saraswathi S.S.S. and Vasudha Mishra, VI (Junior Category), P.S.B.B.S.S.S. being declared the winners. They will form the Horlicks Wiz team 2008 from Chennai and will represent the city in the national finals in November.

Horlicks Wizkids festival which completes its five years this time witnessed participation from more than 10,000 students across 125 schools in Chennai over two days. There was tremendous excitement at the prospect of this year’s winners competing with Wizkids from South Asian nations Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal in November. In addition, at this year’s Wiz Kids, Horlicks unveiled a new initiative called “Badlo Apne Bachpan Ka Size” (Change to a better childhood). This is an initiative to create awareness about child rights and build self reliance. The finalists would work on a project on child rights. The child rights project winner stands a chance to win a wild card entry for national finals if the project gets selected at a national level.
