Design the measure

Celebrating the centenary of the introduction of the metric system in Denmark, the ‘Post Danmark’ issued a stamp on August 22, 2007. The department conducted a stamp design competition among the students of the Graphics Arts Institute of Denmark. This design, created by Majken Lundgaard Klok was judged the best. The metric system was originally a French concept, which arose during the rule of Louis XVI.
