Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kunnumpuram

A lecture-cum-demonstration on Kathakali was held at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kunnumpuram, recently. The programme helped the students to gain a better understanding and appreciation of the Indian classical art.

Padmabhooshan Kalamadalam Ramakutty Nair noted Kathakali artist led the demonstration. The programme was organised by the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture among Youth. The performance concluded with a question-answer session. K.K. Nair, principal of the school, was also present.
